Mitch Siegler has been an active member of Beth Israel since 1990 and is active in a number of Jewish and civic organizations. Before becoming president, Mitch served as Secretary of the Board, member of the Executive Committee and Finance/Budget Committee of the Board and a member of the Endowment Campaign Cabinet. He served as co-chairman of Beth Israel’s Strategic Planning Committee in 2009-2010 and chaired a Special Committee of the Board in 2014 to examine various strategic and financial issues and propose recommendations.
In 2006, Mitch co-founded and serves as Senior Managing Director of Pathfinder Partners, LLC, a leading real estate private equity firm and fund manager based in San Diego. Mitch began his career as a corporate executive for Anheuser-Busch, Inc., spent five years as a partner with a boutique investment banking/venture capital firm in San Diego and several years as a partner in a national management consulting firm. He also founded and served as CEO of several businesses. Mitch earned a B.S. with honors with a major in finance and a minor in economics from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and an M.B.A. with the highest honors from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University. He speaks frequently at real estate conferences, writes regularly for national real estate and finance publications and is widely quoted in the news media.
Mitch and his wife, Elizabeth, live in Point Loma with their children, Jacob, who was a member of the Madrichim program and a member of the 2011 confirmation class and now attends U.C. Davis and works as a camp counselor at Camp Hess Kramer, and Rebecca, who became a Bat Mitzvah at Beth Israel in 2013 and is a member of the Madrichim program.
