Sari Hartman
Board Member

Sari has been involved with the Beth Israel community since 2014 when her oldest daughter, Adara (9), started at the Bill & Sid Rubin Preschool.  Since then, her second daughter, Harlow (6), has attended and graduated from the preschool and now her youngest, Eli (2), is following in his big sisters’ footsteps. Sari is passionate about the success of the preschool, having served as the Parent Committee Chair for several years, and can still be found lending a hand when needed. Her daughters are also active in the Lee & Frank Goldberg Religious School, youth groups, and Camp Mountain Chai.

In addition to helping out in the schools, Sari chairs the Social Action Committee, has worked on several gala committees, serves as treasurer for Women of Beth Israel, and co-chairs the Strategic Planning Design Team.

Synagogue has always been a big part of life for Sari having grown up in Santa Clarita where her parents were founding members of Temple Beth Ami. Sari followed their example and served as a leader in her youth groups, on campus at Cal State Long Beach, and now here at Beth Israel. Professionally, Sari has worked in several industries including home design and aerospace, and currently supports an education consulting firm. Sari lives in Point Loma with her children and husband Sean, a program manager for a defense contractor.
