Kimberly Carnot and her wife, Traci Carpenter, joined Beth Israel in 2010 after relocating from Alaska in 2007. An attorney, she spent five years negotiating business contracts for UC San Diego, worked as a Project Manager at NRG Energy, Inc., served as Director of Facilities Services & Planning at the USD, and Senior Director Physical Resource Management & Capital Asset Strategies for UC San Diego Health Sciences. She currently serves as Executive Director Facilities Services at SDSU. Her portfolio includes extensive experience in organization planning, operational efficiency and change management. She also has a strong background in infrastructure and renewable energy arenas. Kimberly also served on the board of directors for Jewish Family Service.

A native of Maryland, Kimberly received her Bachelors from Washington University in Saint Louis, and her Juris Doctorate and Masters of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School. She is licensed to practice law in California, Maryland and Alaska. Kimberly and Traci, along with their children, Emma and Harley, who attend Beth’s Israel’s Religious School, live in Del Mar. Kimberly is a 4th generation member of Beth Israel.
