Help the women at this temporary downtown shelter in two ways:

1. Prepare and serve dinner to 30 homeless women. It is easy, fun and very rewarding. Wait until you feel the hugs and enjoy the smiles of our supper guests.
2. Donate toiletries, unused cosmetics, underwear and socks for the women. Collection baskets are at all WBI events and in the Beth Israel lobby. Needed everyday for over 120-150 women: small size toiletries, sunscreen, chap stick/lip balm, hair brushes, toopaste, toothbrushes, travel water bottles, new socks and ladies underwear.

Called the Minyan Service, it features prayer, singing and Torah discussion in a relaxed and friendly setting. Attending the Minyan service is a wonderful way to become more familiar with a Shabbat morning service and to venture into participation in a service.
