2. Donate toiletries, unused cosmetics, underwear and socks for the women. Collection baskets are at all WBI events and in the CBI lobby. Here is a list of items that are needed everyday for over 120-150 women:

  • Small size toiletries
  • Sunscreen
  • Chap stick/lip balm
  • Hair brushes
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Donations

WBI Ushers at Shabbat Services

Women of Beth Israel began ushering September 1, 2007, at the Friday Shabbat Services in a dual effort with Men's Club. We think it is wonderful for the women of our temple to be sharing in this experience. Those who have ushered say it is truly a joyful experience.

Remember all members of WBI are welcome to usher at Friday night services, so please contact Sheila Bliss, Program Chairperson. This is an excellent way to better acquaint yourself with other members of our Congregation Beth Israel family.
