Welcome!

Beth Israel welcomes the entire spectrum of our Jewish community: people of all ages, races, and abilities; interfaith families, people who are single, partnered, straight, gay, lesbian, and transgender, and those just exploring or curious about Judaism.

Dear Friends,

Rabbi BerkNever before has a synagogue community been as important as it is today. We live in a world of increasing complexity, greater isolation and profound alienation. In contrast, our congregation is a place that welcomes all and strives to provide a safe haven from the forces that buffet us in our daily lives, and address the profound spiritual yearnings that we all have.

I hope you will visit us. Get to know me, our professional staff, and the members of our congregation. Attend a class or event. I know that you will find a warm welcome, services that are inspiring, opportunities to connect with others who share your interests, life-long friendships and many ways to nurture your Jewish soul. Welcome to Beth Israel. I look forward to meeting you.

L’Shalom,
Senior Rabbi Michael Berk, rabbiberk@cbisd.org
