Join Yavilah McCoy, Alexi Paraschos and Beth Israel musicians and friends for a journey through song and personal narrative describing the ways that music can be engaged to expand spiritual connection and widen commitments to justice and activism. Yavilah will share songs that have been sung across the generations of her African-American Jewish family, at times of love, at times of protest, in times of faith, and in the face of despair. Explore the affirmations that have emerged from their journey to embrace belief in the invisible, hope within adversity, and most of all, at Torah legacy of freedom and justice.
