What is the JDC? 

It’s the world’s leading Jewish humanitarian assistance organization. Since 1914, they have done heroic work taking care of Jews and  improving the lives of vulnerable people around the world. They work in more than 70 countries, including Israel. The JDC takes care of the poorest Jews in the world: isolated communities, the elderly and at-risk families. They create lasting connections to Jewish life in Eastern Europe, Central America and other countries where there are small Jewish communities.
